Creating safe environments goes beyond orange vests and hard hats. It’s an all-encompassing mandate we follow to address every possible risk. We emphasize safety in three key areas:
Culture
Our behavior-based safety culture holds every employee, from apprentice to senior management, accountable for personal and collective safety. Consistently recognized for our safety practices, we were named the 2020 Safety Contractor of the Year by the Federated Electrical Contractors Association.
Training
Ongoing in-house safety classes provide targeted training based on leading and lagging indicators that come directly from the real life jobsite experiences. Near misses and actual accidents are reported, allowing us to focus training on known risk areas and behaviors. All field managers receive regular refresher courses to retain current California and Federal OSHA Certifications. Courses include Fall Protection, Excavation Safety, Confined Space, Hazard Communication, Mobile and Aerial Lift Operation and more.
