Hands-On Internship Programs
We believe the best way to learn about the construction industry is through direct experience. Our internship and early career programs give students and new graduates the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on real projects that make an impact.
Internships are paid, full-time engagements, typically offered during the summer months. These programs are based in our Southern California, Northern California and Oregon offices, as well as on active project sites. Interns work alongside project teams, learning how planning, coordination, and execution come together in the field and the office.

Intern Year: 2025
Julie Murphy is an Oregon State University Senior, majoring in Construction Engineering Management. She spent her Summer 2025 internship with Cherry City Electric gaining valuable hands-on experience in electrical construction and project coordination. She especially enjoyed observing field operations and learning about real-world project dynamics. Julie honed her skills in Bluebeam, Procore, and Lean construction, while helping with tracking tools and project documentation.

Joseph Jin is a Cal State Los Angeles Senior, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He joined Morrow Meadows for the Summer 2025 internship program, working in the Electrical Engineering department. He described his experience as “eye-opening,” as he gained valuable exposure to construction industry operations, from bidding and modeling to on-site coordination. During his internship, Joseph strengthened his skills in Revit, CAD and overall team dynamics, while modeling projects such as custom residential home design. He especially enjoyed problem-solving with his team and learning how preconstruction decisions are made.

Applicants should have a strong interest in learning about and exhibiting teamwork, innovation and professional growth.
Our internship program is a paid, 8-10 week summer experience. Interns are immersed in real project work and gain exposure to the core functions of our business, including Estimating, VDC/BIM, Project Management and Electrical Engineering.
Interns gain hands-on learning and insights into how electrical construction projects are planned and executed. You’ll work side by side with experienced professionals and mentors who are passionate about helping the next generation of builders grow their skills and confidence. From assisting with change order estimates and document control to coordinating materials and supporting field operations, Interns take part in real work that makes a difference.
By learning directly from industry professionals, Interns develop the technical and interpersonal skills that can lead to successful, long-term careers in construction and engineering. The program provides a foundation for future roles such as Estimator, Project Manager, Electrical Engineer and VDC/BIM Specialist.
Many of our Interns start their careers with Morrow Meadows after graduation. Our program is designed to create a clear pathway from student to professional, helping Interns develop the relationships, experience and confidence needed to thrive as full-time team members.
