Description
In collaboration with Portland State University (PSU), Portland Community College (PCC), Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), and the City of Portland, a new 7-story, 175,000 SF facility was constructed on the PSU campus. The building provides shared space for all four institutions and includes 356 classroom seats and 536 office desks to support a wide range of academic and administrative functions.
The project achieved LEED Gold certification, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. With multiple stakeholders involved, the team adopted an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach—promoting collaboration, reducing waste, and streamlining decision-making.
Under the guidance of PAE, our team led the electrical modeling efforts to support design coordination, minimize RFIs, and ensure an efficient, high-quality outcome.
