Description

A state-of-the-art, 390,000 sq. ft., 7-story OSHPD patient tower was completed 4.5 months ahead of schedule and under budget. It featured 256 private rooms, 18 surgical and interventional rooms, a central plant, pharmacy, cafeteria, and a tunnel connecting to the existing hospital. MMC’s scope included a new 4000A service, three 1500KW emergency generators, and comprehensive low-voltage systems: fire alarm, data/phone, PA, nurse call, infant tagging, DAS, AV, surveillance, and access control. The facility included 12 operating rooms, 12 imaging rooms, 12 burn units, 36 ICUs, 20 isolation rooms, sterile spaces, and was designed to meet LEED Silver standards.
