Guild Theatre

This design-build renovation converted an aging theater into a modern performance venue. MMC led the electrical design, engineering, and construction from concept to completion. The scope included designing and coordinating a new PG&E electrical service to support advanced performance technology, along with full power distribution and integrated theatrical and architectural lighting systems.

Advanced lighting controls were implemented to enhance stage productions and audience experience. MMC also completed the electrical fit-out for back-of-house spaces such as dressing rooms and production offices, and powered a new bar and lobby to improve functionality and ambiance.

Collaborating closely with the architect, owner, and AV consultants, MMC delivered an integrated electrical system that meets today’s technical and creative demands while preserving the venue’s historic character.
