Description

The East County Hall of Justice is a 196,000-square-foot design-build project consisting of a five-story courthouse and a two-story county building connected by a shared lobby and security screening area. The courthouse houses 13 criminal courtrooms with supporting spaces, while the county building serves the Public Defender, District Attorney, and Probation Department. Developed in partnership with the Judicial Council of California and Alameda County, the facility replaces multiple outdated justice buildings and improves efficiency through a centralized holding area adjacent to Santa Rita County Jail.

Morrow-Meadows Corporation delivered complete design-build electrical services, including all power and lighting systems and PG&E utility power from the property line. Additional scopes included telecommunications and data infrastructure, audio-visual systems, fire alarm, and integrated security systems.
