Description
Morrow Meadows served as the design-build electrical contractor for a new four-story, 61-foot-tall mixed-use building in San Francisco’s Design District. The scope of work included incoming utility services, power distribution, lighting and controls, and photovoltaic (PV) system. The project is San Francisco’s first CLT office building and the first of its kind in California, featuring three levels of mass timber office space above a concrete podium housing light industrial space. More than 500 CLT panels were used in the floor, roof, and wall assemblies, requiring precise coordination to integrate electrical and renewable energy systems within a pioneering mass timber structure.
