Description

The Terminal 2 Parking Plaza and 12KV Relocation Project, completed between 2016-2018, involved relocating the airport’s 12KV power loop and constructing a 1,000,000 sq. ft., 3-level parking structure with 3,000 spaces. The project featured advanced systems such as cascading fixture controls, architectural lighting, emergency generators, parking management, DAS, Wi-Fi, building management, and a high-tech security system, all with concealed electrical conduits. Morrow-Meadows collaborated with the design team, client, and owner to define the project’s design intent and budget, leading from the basis of design to final construction documents, while considering value engineering. The project achieved LEED Park Smart Gold and Envision certifications. Morrow-Meadows also led the Revit/BIM process and self-performed most electrical and lighting work, while involving specialty sub-trades for fire alarms, DAS, and security systems.
