This 7,000 seat entertainment theater boasts the largest stage in Southern California at 210 feet wide and has hosted many internationally broadcast industry awards shows and notable musical and theatrical performances. An underground DWP transformer fault was built to provide electrical power to the 5000 amp 480/277 volt service.  A 1250KW generator was installed to back up the main service.  Company switches were installed all round the theater, stage and catwalks to accommodate production companies bringing in their own lighting and sound equipment, customized to their shows.  There is a concession on every level at the East end of the theater, with an LED light wall that extends up into the lobby at each level.  The LED wall can display mutable colored lights along with video images.  Morrow-Meadows was awarded the NECA Electrical Excellence award for this project in 2008.
