SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
FULL TIME POSITION

Morrow-Meadows Corporation is accepting applications for Senior Project Managers for its Electrical Division.

Job Duties for Senior Project Manager

• Manage project engineers and other support staff
• Final accountability for all administrative duties on assigned projects
• Follow up with customer on payment status and collections
• Prepare project budgets and breakdown labor task codes for internal tracking
• Interface with customer and office on major administrative issues
• Prepare and negotiate change orders
• Prepare and review monthly job projections
• Prepare RFIs and track/document responses
• Prepare and track product submittals
• Direct the purchasing of major buyout items and subcontractors
• Attend jobsite meetings as required and walk with foreman a minimum of once a week
• Establish, track, maintain project schedule and negotiate issues and conflicts

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years experience in managing the administrative requirements of electrical projects, including projects of 3 million or larger
• Strong technical understanding of materials and methods used in the installation of electrical projects

BIM / MEP TRAINING COORDINATOR
FULL TIME POSITION

Morrow-Meadows Corporation is seeking a BIM/MEP Training Coordinator. In this position, the candidate will use their experience in technology and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to improve the quality, practice and delivery of projects to our clients. They will also provide support for Operations in the primary task of planned implementation of BIM in our Southern California office, by providing training for our evolving BIM services including on-going implementation, production practices and standards, auditing, project set-up, support and reviews. The candidate will assist in future planning for targeting emerging services to be determined such as contractor models, facility management. They will also assist in linking BIM to the project Construction Administration Phase for contractor models, and schedules and assist in tying LEED design provisions into BIM. Manage and mentor staff and develop project specific implementation strategies and budgets.

Job Duties for Electrical Detailer

• Provide end user support and serve as resource for project teams.
• Format and lead group training sessions.
• Perform drawing audit.
• Troubleshoot BIM/CAD coordination issues.
• Update BID/CAD Standards.

Requirements

• Expertise in AutoCAD 2008, AutoCAD 2008 MEP, Revit, Revit MEP Navisworks.
• Ability to work with Electrical Design Engineers to develop company BIM/CAD Standards.
• Ability to install and customize software.
• Working knowledge of LISP, VBA, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Products, and SolidWorks a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience as an Autodesk instructor or Cad Manager.
• Experience in the construction industry a plus.
